Kwaku Appiah-Adu is a Professor of Strategy, and a Senior Advisor at the Vice President’s Secretariat, Office of the President, Republic of Ghana. Currently, he coordinates the Energy Sector Recovery Programme, and chairs the AfCFTA’s Infrastructure-related Technical Working Group.
From 2018–2020, Kwaku played a lead role in several ground-breaking national initiatives including: the processes of birthing Ghana’s Integrated Aluminium Development Project; Ghana’s Integrated Iron and Steel Development Project; the organisation of Ghana’s first digital roadmap conference aimed at making Ghana the preferred ICT innovation hub in Africa; and, the development of Ghana’s Integrated Digital Transformation Blueprint, among others.
Previously, Kwaku worked at the Office of the President, Ghana, where he was Head of Policy Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation, Chairman of the Oil and Gas Technical Committee, Director of Ghana’s Central Governance Project, member of the President’s Investors’ Advisory Council, and Advisory Board member of the UN Initiative on Continental Shelf Delineation. Prior to that, Kwaku worked as a manager at PwC’s policy, strategy and management division, and as an architect/project manager of multimillion-dollar residential, retail, office and industrial projects in the United Kingdom.
In academia, he has served as Dean of Central University Business School and lectured at the Universities of Cardiff and Portsmouth. He is an author of several books. His recent edited/co-edited titles are:
Contemporary Business Imperatives in a Developing Economy (2020);
Context: Executing Strategy in a Developing Economy (2018);
Key Determinants of National Development (2015);
Governance of the Petroleum Sector in an Emerging Developing Economy (2013).
With over 100 publications, he has facilitated workshops and presented papers at numerous international fora. He is Board Chairman, Glico Pensions Trustee Ltd; and a Director of Vivo Energy Ghana Ltd; Ghana Grid Company Ltd; Golden Beach Hotels Ltd; and, Switchback Developers Ltd.
Kwaku is a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, and has been elected to the ANBAR Hall of Excellence for Outstanding Contribution to the Literature and Body of Knowledge. He has received several honours, including the President’s Crystal Awards for exceptional contribution to business environment reforms and national development.
Ariel Fabio is an expert in analytics for financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, credit card companies and fintech.
He has worked in credit analytics for 20 years in various roles; as a credit analyst, in development of credit risk models, and in management of credit regulation projects.
15 years ago he established Paretix, developing a Smart Credit Analytics solution that leverages traditional and alternative data sources and AI, to develop a bespoke credit scoring model.

Maame Yaa Owusu-Amoah is the Mission’s business development manager in charge of the Fintech, Cybertech and IT sectors amongst others. She has been the lead in organizing and managing the GIFSummit2022.
Previously Maame worked as a senior project manager in the private sector, bringing impact driven mobile-for-development solutions to people in the Global South through her work at Viamo. While at Viamo, Maame led multiple projects in partnership with leading development partners including the World Bank and a cluster of UN organizations.
She’s also worked as a volunteer entrepreneur helping women in local Ghanaian markets gain access to finance. Maame is passionate about leapfrogging development in Africa by leveraging technology. She holds a Master of Arts in Global Development and Africa from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from GIMPA.
Ayelet Levin-Karp is the head of the Israel Trade and Economic Mission to Ghana.
Ayelet was charged with establishing the mission back in 2018, as part of Israel’s efforts to further develop her economic and diplomatic ties with Ghana, West Africa, and Africa as a whole.
Prior to her post in Ghana, Ayelet worked as a project lead in the Dept. of Planning and Strategy at the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry. Her work focused on formulating and implementing innovative projects for economic and industrial development including programs for rural economic development, a national center for Industry 4.0 and programs/policy to further the Israeli foodtech industry.
Before her work in government, Ayelet worked as a research biologist earning her MSc in Biology from the renowned Weizmann Institute of Science. Ayelet is passionate about leading collaborative efforts, bringing together various stakeholders for a win-win results-oriented impact.

Alon took part in the Initiation of B-MATCH technology as well as the management and operating systems of investors’ and borrowers’ funds, and the technologies of the array of agents and consultants.
Since the establishment of the company, Alon has been the product manager and has been involved in defining technology and managing technological products. Alon is a graduate of the Artificial Intelligence Program from Oxford.

Carl Ashie is a payment expert who has worked extensively in the telecom industry over the last 13 years in Ghana. He managed the deployment of various Value Added services such as voice SMS and content SMS services as well as project managed the launch of the first Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (TDMB) service in Africa.
He directly led the deployments of Airtel Money and Vodafone Cash and has consulted for various payment service providers in Ghana and beyond. His strength lies in the development of payment services for the unbanked and financially excluded.
He holds a Computer Science bachelor’s degree from KNUST and a Master of Science degree from the University of Liverpool. He also holds a post graduate diploma in MIS from GIMPA.
He is currently the head of Mobile Financial Services at GCB Bank, and a member of the Operations working group of the Ghana National Payments Council.
Ikede Ebhole is a Diligent Cyber Security Specialist proficient in online security research, planning, execution, and maintenance. Adept at training and educating internal users on relevant cyber security procedures and preventative measures.
He specializes in network monitoring, security software installation, and working to prevent cyber-attacks, especially in business and corporate settings
Shlomit Sufa is the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra-Leone. Prior to her appointment, she was a participant in the National Security Program at the Israeli National Defense College (INDC) and served as Minister-Councilor, South East Asia Department in the Asia and Pacific Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel.
Ms. Sufa began her career as a lawyer in 1998 at the Legal Department of the Municipality of Ramla and moved on to participate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cadet Program to begin her Diplomatic career.
Since 2001, Shlomit Sufa has served in different capacities at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs including Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of Israel to Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi; Deputy Director, East Africa Department, Africa Affairs Division; Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of Israel to Switzerland and Lichtenstein; Deputy Director, EU Department, at the Europe Affairs Division; and as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Canada.
Shlomit Sufa is also a member of the Women Diplomatic Network Steering Committee (an Israeli network of female diplomats from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and female diplomats posted in Israel) and Forum Dvorah (a non-partisan, nonprofit NGO that looks at equal representation of women in key decision-making position in the fields of national security and foreign policy).
Ms. Sufa holds a LL.B in Law from the Harry Radzyner Law School, IDC Herzliya and M.A in Political Science from the University of Haifa.

Eli Hini is the Chief Executive Officer for MobileMoney Limited, the MTN Ghana subsidiary responsible for mobile financial services. He is responsible for driving strategy, business development, innovation and relevant operations of MTN’s Mobile Money business. Prior to Eli’s appointment as CEO, he was the General Manager MobileMoney Limited, a role he held for approximately five years. Eli was instrumental in setting up Mobile Money services in Ghana and growing the subscriber base, transaction volumes and value. He also led the MTN Mobile Money team to receive ISO certification (ISO/IEC 12007: 2013 certification) in January 2016 and the GSMA Mobile Money Certification in November 2019. Eli is a Chartered Marketer with over 18 years’ experience and has also held leadership positions in Unilever Ghana Limited and The Coca- Cola Bottling Company Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a post-graduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Bonnie Atitsogbui Graduated from University of Ghana. He is a Senior Software Engineer at Ghana Dot Com who specializes in the design and development of blockchain solutions, web and mobile applications, and system administration services.
