Fintech and Fraud: Mitigating risk while preserving frictionless experience
COVID-19 has boosted the adoption of “fintech”, with digital banking, mobile wallets, Crypto Wallets, Neo banking and other solutions, designed to help companies and consumers better manage their financial operations and lives. This massive growth of digital transactions has increased the risk of fraud and money loss cases. Fintechs by nature, differ from incumbent banks in various aspects and are more susceptible to fraud attacks. This workshop will study these threats and will introduce industry best practices to manage the trade-off between controlling the risk of fraud while enabling the desirable frictionless user experience.
